This study enabled us to prioritize remediation work, which should aim to limit infiltration and long-term environmental impact.

Conclusion: 
The study of a dredged-sediment disposal site, heavily contaminated by metals and arsenic, showed that even 30 years after deposition, contaminants were still present mainly as sulfides and that metal and arsenic mobility could vary significantly depending on the physicochemical conditions within the deposit.
